The Yellow Nib will be suspending open submissions beginning 1 October 2016. Any work we have already received and anything submitted until the end of September will still be considered for possible future publication.

The launch for Issue 11 will be held at The Crescent Arts Centre at 8pm on Thursday 28 April 2016. Elaine Gaston, Ruth Carr, and Enda Coyle-Greene will be reading. Issues will be available for purchase on the night, as well as from No Alibis Bookshop on Botanic Avenue and from our website.

Closing date for submissions to Issue 11

If you would like to submit your poems to the Yellow Nib and be considered for publication in Issue 11, the closing date for receipt of submissions will be next Friday, August 14th.

Issue 10 is here!

Issue 10 of the Yellow Nib has arrived!

With poems from Richard Lambert, Katrina Naomi, Francis O'Hare, John Sewell and Liz Rosenberg, Issue 10 also contains a review by Edna Longley of Steve Enniss's After the Titanic and reflections from poets on their favourite anthologies.

All those who have an annual subscription running will receive the journal in the next few days. Copies are also available to purchase from No Alibis and through this site.

An official launch will take place on September 10th in No Alibis Bookshop, Botanic Ave.

Updated Postage Costs

Due to recent cuts The Yellow Nib has been forced to introduce postage costs to all sales of the journal. We have kept these as low as possible. We would like to thank all our customers over the past year and hope to retain your readership in the years ahead.
